Staff was wonderful. Air conditioning wasn't awesome. Very clean. Excellent location to the old town and harbor. I highly recommend !

I would come back

Great room and location. The room is substantially large for a European room. It was very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable, great linen and pillow and strong Air conditioning, which you will desperately need in the middle of the day. The staff is friendly and very helpful. You are 3 minute walk to the palace, which is really convenient - close enough to all the tourist, yet a little bit away to enjoy not being in the center of all the tourist. The only downside: The front of the building has no curb appeal, it makes you wonder what you might be walking into. The sidewalk is tiny and it is on the corner of an intersection; but walk in, it is safe, clean, modern and friendly. It is an UNESCO site, so there is not much they can do with the outside of the building, the inside is lovely

My single room was clean, new, and comfortable. The front-desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location with a convenience store just outside the entrance. Please note that this is a small hotel and does not include breakfast, but there are so many places to eat within a few minutes walk.

Clean room with off site parking that we made use of. Pleasant stay with helpful staff. Only downside was World Cup game played in the early hours of the morning which another guest and friends were obviously noisily watching.

Hidden Gem

Dont judge things by their appearances. Yes, this hotel is on the 3rd floor of an old building with only one narrow lift (quite charming).
But once you step inside, you will find a refreshingly renovated reception and comfortable modern rooms. My room had everything I needed, was well airconditioned, quiet and spacious.
The ladies at reception are the most friendly and cheerful staff I came across this trip. Always ready to help and offer advice or a few words to brighten up my day, they make my stay here more special.
The hotel does not offer breakfast. But fear not, it recommended a few places including what I considered the best and most delicious breakfast place on my entire 4 weeks trip! When you exit the hotel building, just turn right and keep walking for about 5-7 minutes and you will come to this amazing cafe. Make sure you give it and this hotel a try!
