Was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned since last guests.

I was booked for after hours check in. Arrived, collected room key went to room and they had assigned me a room that hadn’t not been cleaned at all since the last guest walked out. I think it’s a pretty big failure. Luckily I was able to find a staff member who was locking up for the night and they did manage to find me another room that had been cleaned.

Dear kmusgr843516,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience with the room upon arrival. We completely understand how disappointing and frustrating this would have been, particularly after arriving for an after-hours check-in.
We have been trying to contact you to discuss this matter further, but unfortunately have been unable to reach you. We have also sent an email and would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand what occurred and address your concerns.
Please feel free to contact us on 03 5481 3900 at your convenience. We genuinely would value the chance to discuss this with you further.

I left my diamond rings behind in a draw accidentally and the staff helped me get them back…. Very very grateful.

Lift was not working and I advised of issues with knees but they didn’t offer to relocate me from my third floor room

Enjoyable stay

Our stay at The Quest was a wonderful overnight experience, and we genuinely wished we could have stayed longer to explore more of the city. The room was a great size, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Parking and access to the motel were straightforward, and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay.
The location is ideal — just a short walk to the main street and local attractions, yet the property remains pleasantly quiet. Highly recommend.
