Unforgettable Family Trip

I've just recently been on a road trip from Kalgoorlie to Nullagine and back with the Family, to research some Family history, and boy it wasn't what I expected, the water ways were absolutely beautiful, the people were Very Friendly and Welcoming, we happen to go there at a very hot time of the year, so lucky there was beautiful swimming areas available for us to swim in, it was a great experience, and I really enjoyed it. I got to hang out with some local youth, and it was beautiful to see that they are still very much connected to their Traditional Culture, we got to meet the Police, the local Aboriginal Arts Centre was eye opening with some lovely paintings..I got to meet some really lovely local people, can't wait to return, so I could check out the new Kareoke set-up, thanks to James and All His Staff at the Nullagine Hotel, You Are All Legends, I've never had such an exciting and enjoyable time, can't wait to return to see more of the country, it's Utterly Stunning, and thanks so much James, for being such a Mate, and letting us have some fun, putting our vocal skills to the test with a Kareoke and pub Choir session, it was Awesome, I'm so glad everyone enjoyed themselves.."Keep Up the Great Work Guy's You Rock""You May Ne Small, But You've Got It All"

Highly recommended!

Just wanted to say thanks to the team and locals at the Nullagine Hotel, was based in Nullagine for a few weeks for work, and you all made our stay very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to assist in any way they could, and everyone was very friendly and too happy to help. Good food, comfy rooms and a real sense of community. Would love to bring the family back for a holiday one day to say hi!

In fairness I didn't get to look at the rooms but when I enquired about the price for one person for one night I was told $200!
C'mon, I have stayed in pubs, roadhouses and motels right across Australia. Prices vary but the average is about $110-$120. I'll give you the tip...Nullagine pub is not the Sheraton!
I headed for Marble Bar....$120.

I've Stayed in Some Dumps l

Not sure how anyone can give a five, four or three star for the accommodation at Nullagine Hotel .
I had the misfortune of having to stay at the hotel short term, because of work near by.
Staff were generally miserable.
My donga was old and dirty. The decoration was tired and dated and the bathroom was just awful.
By the time we got to breakfast at 5:45am we were presented with food that was at best poor and the freed eggs were inedible. Mainly because they had been over cooked in bulk some time earlier and kept warm in a bay marie. Dinner was ok.

Everything is $5

We stopped by for morning tea but found few options and no coffee available in the dusty shop next to the hotel. Toilets across the road. Staff seemed preoccupied and not very customer focused . We did find a couple of things to buy and both were $5.
