The host Leonardo really made everything very smooth. It's very challenging find good service in Rio de Janeiro so at Anna Suites Arpoador Leonardo really exceeded my expectations. Extremely helpful and on time. I will definitely comeback.

The room was fine. The hotel advertises services, but nothing works. The workout room was minimal and it was locked. The pool was closed for service. The sauna did not work for over a week. They use facial recognition (instead of keys) to enter the hotel and other spaces. That didn't work the first day either. Save your money. Stay in a cheaper place with just a bed and a bath-- that's all you'll get here.

No soap no handsoap in the flat … not even something to wash your hands or take a first shower . Absurd.

Nice location . Good apartment
But :
- reception : made me feel like I was disturbing them … unhelpful … staff was so unhelpful I almost thought it was one of those tv shows with hidden cameras
- the apartment comes without hand soap, soap, shampoo … imagine: you arrive after a long fight and you can’t even was your hands or take a first shower … need to make an inventory of what’s missing them go to a super market (if open!) to buy all these necessities … absurd. Wrote to the owner … he was totally unapologetic.
Too bad they could have a gem … but they do these small things that turn it into an unpleasant experience

Bad experience, don't go.

We arrived on 3/21/2026 around 12.30 pm and, at the reception, we were attended by a person who indicated that we could not check-in at 2.00 pm as listed on the page. We insisted asking why and only said that it was "not a hotel" and that we should contact the owner to give us the key. We called the contact number several times and they didn’t answer us, we insisted again and, as the only answer did not say “this is not a hotel, call the owner”. We asked him to communicate and he refused, saying that he has no way of communicating, which is unusual since, if they tell him that we cannot access, somehow they communicate with each other. We left and came back at three o'clock in the afternoon and we couldn't access the apartment either. Given this situation, we went to make the complaint to the Brazilian Tourism Commissioner. Only at six in the afternoon we were able to access the apartment. The strange thing is that while we waited for an answer, people who had hired for Booking could access it without problems. When we finally got in, there was no light. I told the same person who “attended” and again replied “it’s not a hotel”. He finally agreed to fix the problem but, all the way from the ground floor to the apartment, he stared at me with an unboxed look. We hire through the property's official website. It is a shame as both the apartment and the building facilities are very good.
I don't know what really happened, but, if you'd told me you couldn't clean it up, fly later, or some understandable excuse, we'd have saved ourselves the bad drink.
I wouldn't hire again.
