The only problem I had was with the door lock on my room, I had to get them flashed on a daily basis and the. Staff said it was probably the battery in the mechanism but for some reason no one ever tried to fix it lol

URGENT REPLY
I am writing to formally state that offering 20,000 loyalty points is completely unacceptable given the physical injury caused by your property's hazardous equipment, the dismissive handling by management, and the significant financial and personal losses my family experienced.
We booked our stay at the Quality Inn in Moncton to celebrate my twins' 13th birthday. Instead, this trip resulted in severe injury and distress due to a broken bed frame in our room.
Key Issues & Direct Impact
Severe Physical Injury & Ongoing Medical Care: On Saturday night, I injured my ankle on a broken bed frame in the room. I am currently suffering from severe swelling and sharp pains, requiring an upcoming physician consultation and X-rays.
Negligent & Dismissive Staff Response: After the injury occurred, I explicitly requested to be seen and assisted before leaving the property, but this was ignored. I was instructed to call the manager, Michelle, between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM the following day. When I called during that exact window, she was not on the property.
Inadequate Handling & Unprofessional Conduct: Subsequent phone follow-ups consisted of denials, excuses, and insincere apologies. A genuine acknowledgment was only extended after I was forced to escalate the issue further. AStill awaitin g their reply before we take further action!!!!
Ruined Family Celebration: I spent over $400 on tickets to Magic Mountain for Sunday. Because of my injury, I spent the entire day sitting on the sidelines in severe pain, completely unable to enjoy the waterpark or celebrate with my children.
Out-of-Pocket Financial Burden: As the owner of a childcare business during peak summer season, I have had to pay out of pocket to hire extra help while incapacitated. On top of these losses, we were still charged full price for a room containing a dangerous, broken bed frame.
Required Resolution
Given that this issue involves an unsafe room condition resulting in personal injury, ongoing medical complications, financial loss, and a ruined family event, points do not resolve this matter.
I require a full refund for our room stay at a minimum, along with compensation for the out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a direct result of this injury. Please escalate this email—along with the attached photos of the broken bed frame and my injured ankle—directly to corporate leadership and your risk management team for prompt review and resolution.

Pool is very small and rules not followed . Bugs in shower . Overall though , was a clean room and comfortable beds . Breakfast was ok too

Okay for a place to sleep, buy we wouldn't return.
Overall, our stay was just okay. This was our first visit and will likely be our last. We normally stay with Marriott/Bonvoy properties, but this was a last-minute trip during a large concert weekend in Moncton, so availability throughout the city was extremely limited.
Most of the staff we interacted with were very helpful and knowledgeable. The beds and bathroom fixtures appeared clean, but the rest of the room left quite a bit to be desired. There was a strong ammonia/cat urine-like smell that never really went away, dust and debris on the floors, peeling wallpaper, and crumbs/debris caught in the slats of the wooden headboards. Since we were only there for a short visit and mainly needed somewhere to sleep, we didn’t make a fuss about it.
Noise was also an issue at times. Street noise was quite noticeable, and sound seemed to travel easily between rooms, so the building doesn’t appear to have particularly good sound insulation. There is actually a sign in the lobby stating that refunds will not be provided for street noise or construction outside of the hotel’s control. Seeing that made us wonder if outside noise is a fairly common concern for guests. If you’re a light sleeper or travelling with young children, it’s something worth keeping in mind.
The pool was another mixed experience. You need a separate key card to access it, which wasn’t mentioned at check-in, and there was no signage at the pool entrance directing guests to the front desk. When we went down, several other guests were just as confused.
More concerning was the former hot tub area, which was covered with what appeared to be plywood and vinyl flooring. There was nothing preventing guests from walking across it, and the plywood felt soaked and spongy. Kids were running across it while we were there. Hopefully this is only a very temporary repair, because I would be concerned about an adult stepping onto it and potentially falling through. The pool itself is also quite small. With four adults and four children, it already felt crowded, although it was still nice to have somewhere for the kids to take a quick dip.
There is self-serve guest laundry on site, which is convenient, although there is only one washer and one dryer.
Breakfast was a standard hotel continental breakfast and gets very busy. I do want to specifically recognize the older lady who was keeping everything running during breakfast. She was exceptional: incredibly pleasant, helpful, and working hard to keep up with a very busy room. She was easily one of the highlights of our stay.
A few things for families travelling with young children to know: the Pack ’n Play does not come with any bedding, and the curtains in our room were not blackout curtains. We ended up hanging the extra blanket over the window to darken the room. There was also no non-slip bath mat for the tub in our room, although I’m not sure whether one could be requested from the front desk. None of these are necessarily dealbreakers, but they’re worth knowing ahead of time so families can plan accordingly.
Overall, it served its purpose as a place to rest our heads for a short visit. If this hotel fits your budget and expectations, it may be perfectly adequate. There were some very good staff members and a few useful amenities, but based on the cleanliness, condition of the room, noise, and maintenance concerns, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

You get what you pay for
The price was good but you get what you pay for. Cleanliness was an issue. Both beds looked like someone had been sitting on them. Hair on one of the bed covers. Dirt in the corners and edges. Bathroom fan was filthy. Tub bottom creaked like it wasn’t installed properly.
Breakfast was OK. Not enough seating in the small area. Staff was friendly.
Hotel needs a renovation. Wallpaper peeling at the edges on more than one wall. Needs a couple more outlets or at least on both sides of the bed.
