Amazing hosts for well located two bedroom rental

We loved our 7 nights here. The air-conditioning unit in the living room worked well keeping the place cool, good range of kitchen appliances, roomy shower and a covered terrace with table, chairs and clothes airer.
Igor and Zrinka, the owners, gave us their numbers on booking through Booking.com and we were able to WhatsApp during our stay any queries. Igor also meet us at nearly midnight from our bus from the airport to walk us to the accommodation and talk us through how things work.
We were lucky to be able to stay a bit later on our check out day which was really helpful.
Super hosts and we loved our visit to Split. Main sights were 5-10 minute walk away, nearest beach less than 10 minutes, supermarkets 5 minutes in three directions, bus station less than 10 minutes walk and harbour about the same.
Slept really well, shutters keep everything dark.
Only slight negative- couldn’t get washing machine to work.
Stay here- we will if we return to Split!

Place is great! First impression of host was terrible!

The host did not reply our request of checking in at a certain time. We got to the apartment, no one was there. Tried to call him and text him and only got a message saying "the customer was unavailable". After waiting for over 1 hr we found out that the door to the apartment was opened and that we were supposed to just walk in!! There's nothing anywhere in the instructions about this. The host did got back to us at night with a very condescending reply "why didn't you got in"?... and this is why I remove a couple stars from this property. First impressions matter.
The apartment itself is great! You get a full kitchen, laundry, a deck. The location is also great, just a few minutes walk to where the action happens.
It's cash only and there's no receipt of the transaction.

Cozy and central...what more can you want?

Great location, very close to the sea and central square. The AC paid off! The design is really nice and welcoming. Clean = spotless and nice kitchen area. Nice and funny host too, which is a plus!
The area is really quiet for your beauty sleeps :)

Excellent location

The place has huge potential. It's right next to the busy Split market in narrow old walking streets. It's quite spacious, recently renovated, and supposedly well equipped. Unfortunately during our stay many things were broken. If everything was working, I'd recommend this over anything in Split. Probably as we were visiting at the end of the tourist season, some maintenance was pending.
Instructions could be better organized by the owner, but once we found our way we enjoyed the stay a lot.

Kiva huoneisto perheelle

Majoituimme kahden makuuhuoneen ja pation huoneistossa 5 yötä kahden aikuisen ja puolivuotiaan vauvan voimin. Huoneisto on rauhallisella alueella vain kiven heiton päässä vanhasta kaupungista. Rattailla pääsi hienosti kulkemaan sinne ja huoneistollekin. Matkapinnasänkykin oli tarjolla + lakanat, pyyhkeet ja kaikki tiskiaineita myöten. Vain kahvinkeitin puuttui, mutta purukahvilla sai kahvinhimon taitettua.
Sähköpostilla sai todella hienosti hoidettua kysymykset ja kyydit jo kotoa käsin. Lasten turvaistuinkin olisi autossa kuskin mukana ollut mutta oma oli matkassa.
