Single night stay close to railway station

Decent room, nothing fancy but quite spacious and clean. We had a small balcony but no furniture for sitting. Our room was situated directly out towards the railway, so there were some noise from there but it didn't bother us too much.
There are some activities in the public area as well as a swimming pool but we didn't use any of it since we only were there for a single night.
Breakfast is located at a restaurant directly across from the reception, good value for money and a nice selection of food and beverages.

As a family of four with older teens, we wanted a single room with individual beds (vs. a shared sofa bed) for the children. CPH's superior family room was perfect. The room was clean and had adequate space (spacious by European standards). The bathroom was large and clean. The lobby had games available (table tennis, foosball, darts) and the pools looked spectacular (though we did not use them). The hotel itself is only a couple of blocks from Copenhagen Central Station, providing easy access to the metro, trains and city buses. It's also convenient to Tivoli Gardens. Despite being near transport (and an easy walk to tourist centers), the property feels tucked away in a quiet corner.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the included breakfast buffet. The buffet was generous (breads & pastries, meats, cheese, skyr (yogurt) with mix-ins, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, a waffle station, etc.) with ample drinks available, including fresh fruit juices. Given the price of a meal in Copenhagen (expect $30/person for all but the cheapest of fast food), breakfast was a budget saver.
The only negatives weren't, really: At times you could hear the rumble of trains on the track (this may concern light sleepers, but didn't bother us) and towels were only changed every few days (garbage was taken out daily).

Staff was super friendly! Location is convenient and easy to walk to city center and restaurants, plus metro is close. The lobby is wonderful, my kids loved it, but it’s just as nice for adults to hang out. The pool looks great, unfortunately we didn’t take time to swim…. Next time! All that being said, the room is basic and non-luxurious. If hanging in your room is more your thing, then you may prefer a different hotel. For our family, this place was perfect.
