Five stars. Service, cleanliness & welcome was superb. The breakfast the next morning was absolutely beautiful.

Well worth the up hill walk

Great little boutique hotel. Rooms clean and spacious , strong wifi and delicious breakfast. Tea, biscuits and cold water available to help yourself. Staff kind and efficient.
Situated outside the town on a very steep incline it was not a pleasant walk after a day of trekking. However, the bonus was that you’re right next to the trail in the morning. Highly recommend.

August in Pontedeume

It is a coquettish and very well maintained accommodation.
Spacious rooms and very good cleaning.
The owners treatment unbeatable and the breakfast very complete.
There are no parking problems in the area.
I recommend it without a doubt.

Nice but think before you book

Pluses
Cleanliness of room and a nice breakfast.
Minuses
Think carefully about the location of hotel which is up a hill out of main square which at the end of a hot day could be difficult.
No food at premises in the evening.

Superior service

This is a charming hotel in Pontedeume, right on the Camino de Santiago Inglés. It is run by a very friendly couple that treats you like family. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything needed by a tired pilgrim. I have to add that I stayed there during the general power outage in Spain, and the owners did everything at their disposal to make my stay a comfortable and safe as possible. Note that while the property is on the Camino, it is a few hundred meters past the center of town and it takes a good climb to get there. On the flip side, if you are continuing with the Camino the next day, you save a good portion of that morning's climb.
