Great for business
Good hotel, quite suitable for business given being close to the congress palace. Friendly employees. Amolo is beautiful Hall. Large rooms.

Holiday with friends

Pullman Bordeaux Lac
firstly it was nice to get an upgrade but unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t seem to be very good as had to sleep with no sheets off as it was to hot, l did tell the front desk but nothing got done
Coffee maker had to be changed as it wasn’t working.
Breakfast l asked for more scrambled egg when it arrived l took it out of the Bain Marie it was completely cold so must only get heated when left inside for a period of time which is not good. There doesn’t seem to be enough tables in the breakfast room to accommodate all the guests the 2 adjoining room was empty with lots of space to put more tables? Which bring me to the next situation
Dinner ( or should say no dinner ) my friends and l (4 people) was to go in the main restaurant, there was empty tables but was told they are full, so l ask the front of house (one of the managers) and she tried to get us in but was told still no
I didn’t think you needed or was never told you need to book a table, again there is a lot of empty space where they could have made up a table
not many tables to eat in the restaurant at in the first place to begin with, you would think you would make most of your room space as the next part of the room next to the bar could be used to accommodate extra guests. It also does seem you need more staff, the restaurant /bar staff are all nice and polite but all look stressed and rushing around so difficult to ask them questions
Swimming pool
Which needs some work, steps into pool needs replacing or fixed as that is an accident waiting to happen, lots of broken ties, and we noticed so many people having difficulty opening the gate to the pool area, needs a more clear instruction sign. Nice outside furniture.especially outside the pool. The pool itself was nice and clean and a nice temperature
No one at the bar till mid afternoon and to are astonishment the pool bar is closed at 7pm when it’s still hot
And even more annoying is the pool closes at 7.30 /8 pm again it’s still hot we do not understand that at all, it’s not as if the pool is watched by a member of staff so why can guests not still use it?
It’s would make a nice evening area to relax and enjoy a drink.
Gym/ fitness room very disappointed it’s very small with 4 gym machines very close together, NO free weights at all it’s as it put there to just say the hotel has a gym.so l didn’t use it
So yes, the hotel experience has not been great unfortunately

Slightly further away.
Although close to the lake, it is still some distance from the city's main attractions. The train takes 40 minutes to reach the railway station. But the hardware is back in time, and as a 4-star hotel, it's clearly more businesslike and noble. As a family suite, the room is average in size. Breakfast was sloppy and the free local spring water in the aisle should be a feature

Very far from Pullman standards
Very disappointing stay. This hotel is far from meeting the expected standards of a Pullman.
The service is very mediocre. The reception staff is particularly unfriendly: with every request, we felt like we were bothering them rather than being welcomed with the professionalism expected in an establishment of this category.
The housekeeping service is also not up to par. The staff speaks very loudly, even shouting in the hallways from the morning, which is particularly disturbing when one wishes to rest.
The cleanliness also leaves much to be desired. The edges of the pool were dirty, which gives a bad impression as soon as one arrives there. In our room, we even found a spider, which reinforces the feeling of insufficient maintenance.
For a hotel that claims such a high level, we expected a much better quality of service, more discretion, and better maintenance of the premises. This is an experience that we will not repeat and that I do not recommend.

Only 1 elevator was working, then it stopped and have to climb the stairs, and noisy in the day.
