Gleneagle Killarney boasts a 25-metre swimming pool, an 18-hole pitch and putt, and 2 tennis courts. Situated on the edge of Killarney National Park, the Gleneagle Arena is attached to the hotel.

An unforgettable birthday celebration
Just back from a fantastic 80th birthday trip to The Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
The staff were amazing from the moment we checked in right through to the waiting staff – everyone was so friendly, welcoming and professional. Our rooms were spotless and very comfortable.
We had an incredible dinner in Fiadh Restaurant before heading to the Ballroom for a brilliant night of dancing with Michael Collins and Louise Morrissey. The fun didn't stop there – we finished the night with more music and dancing in The Green Room until 1:30 a.m. There really is something for all ages when it comes to the entertainment.
It's almost unfair to single out one member of staff because everyone was excellent, but the singing waiter in Fiadh Restaurant (I forgot to get his name!) deserves a special mention for his powerful voice and an incredible rendition of Happy Birthday, which made our celebration even more memorable.
Thank you to everyone at The Gleneagle for making such a special occasion unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!

All in one equals enjoyment
A great place with everything you might need under one area Staff are excellent and for a big place it seems to run smoothly

Just ok
Stay here for 5 nights we always stayed here 8 times in 10 years
This time it was a bit disappointing

Bumped twice into the ceo patrick he wouldn't even say hello how rude
Been from a business background myself I know him
No point in the owner telling staff to be nice to people when the owner isn't

Rooms very warm so had window open and at 2 o'clock in the morning staff emptying bottles making awful noise is simply not on
3th night again same thing staff shouting at each other
I mentioned this to the receptionist but she seemed this interested

Food has gone down hill since we started coming here many years ago
Had dinner twice in the backstage bar
House burger at €23.50 very expensive
You get a burger and chips
Wife got the chicken wings for main course had to send them back absolutely freezing cold
Been a butcher wholesale I know exactly the quality and the price of these products
Sausages for breakfast are awful using 16s the second smallest ones on the market
Meat content 35% very poor
We went to the tower hotel for food Been frustrated by the mentioned
What a difference
Burger 8oz salad,coleslaw, chips €20
It was absolutely delicious
Wife had steak sandwich much better value then glen eagle

Went to the bar my daughter help me she 17
Got wkd blue.2 coke,still water my daughter picked up the wkd blue and coke
The barman shouted to my daughter you cannot drink this show me your I'd
It was hugely embarrassing for me and her and upset her
She had no intention of drinking this as it was for my wife
I said this to the barman he just walked away
Overall we do like the gleneagle all staff are helpful any room we stayed in are clean
We would have to reconsider next year if we would stay here again

Excellent place to stay
From time we arrived to time we left .we had a great time place was spotless clean very helpful and friendly staff. Entertainment was brilliant.

Hotel with many facilities
The hotel offers many facilities for families, such as a swimming pool and a game room and a Harry Potter room. There is also a playroom for toddlers. The breakfast is versatile and above all the staff are very nice.
Our room was outdated unfortunately and there was no air conditioning. That was not necessary in Ireland until recently. We understand the hotel is working on this.
The shows they also offer in the Arena we didn't try because we were only there one night, but I imagine it could be fun to go there. In any case, it is an extra service.
