Delightful riad

Riad super recommended, quiet, clean and great service. We asked for dinner one evening and were pleased with a delicious dinner served in the room all to ourselves. The photos absolutely true to reality. The area is far from the confusion of the Medina great for resting after a day in the souks.

Perfect.

Beautiful riad. We spent 3 magical days. The staff is lovely at the little care. The room is spacious. Little attention for my birthday which is really nice. Breakfast and have hearty. I recommend without hesitation

Gladly again

A beautiful riad. Clean, well maintained and furnished with passion. We only enjoyed the breakfast here, but this indicates a very good cuisine. The best thing is the staff, who are incredibly loving and always take care of you. Giant Danleschön to the whole team for this lovely stay.

Luxurious but Awkward

We arrived at 3am, host met our driver and walked us through the empty pedestrian only streets, served us their mint tea and gave us a tour. We were the only people staying there for 2 of our 3 nights, which was nice but a bit awkward for our private meals. The host spoke mostly French and Arabic, no English at all. We had a very hard time conversing about the simple things like what time we wanted breakfast or dinner or where we wanted it served. We also had an issue with our safe and couldn't communicate. All of our drivers and guides and other people we came in contact with knew at least a little English or tried. The room was pretty and air conditioned (thank goodness even in November), and it was very very almost eerily quiet. The fresh flowers and petals and water was a very nice touch. Probably more for a couple than other travelers. The rooftop was nice for our one dinner but again, awkward.

Awesome place for a gentle Marrakech immersion

the Marrakech experience already starts with the way that brings you to this fantastic place: We followed our guide through a labyrinth of narrow streets, a corner and another corner, people walking and greeting, children playing in the streets and all of a sudden we arrive at Riad Basim. It is in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance from different places of interest. We felt immediately at home, the whole team led by our host Sylvia gave us a warm welcome and cared for us during the whole week. Every single morning we started with a sumptuous breakfast on the roof terrace. Freshly brewed tea every time we returned to the Riad allowed for a short relaxing break to let sink in all the impressions from our different excursions. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We were three couples and had a fantastic week.
