Ideal location in the middle of the island and still at the beach

Rooms with a large terrace, renovated bathroom, very clean. Free parking, good breakfast. The Greek yogurt is delicious and artisanal (!). Admittedly, not many fresh fruits, otherwise there is everything. Skala Kallonis with several restaurants a 10-minute walk away, if that. Large beach nearby, lots of greenery around. The staff is very attentive and smiling. Once a week BBQ at the hotel, with professional dancers. Large pool, pool bar open all day. They even serve good meals at noon for those who stay 'at home'
Clientele mostly English and Dutch during our stay.
We recommend it!

Nice, relaxed hotel with very friendly staff.

Relaxed and friendly hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
For Greek standards a generous and varied breakfast.
Spacious room with enough closet space, but a somewhat dated and small shower. Nice terrace and lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds. Lunch menu with delicious dishes.
At 10/15 minutes walking distance the cozy village of Skala Kallonis with restaurants, ice cream parlor and coffee shop.
It is nice and central with plenty of sights.
Rental car is nice. Nice island.
In short: highly recommended!

Idyllic holiday

We’ve just come back from a wonderful holiday at this hotel. If you’re the sort of people who like hotels that are generic and could be anywhere in the world, this isn’t for you. If however you want a whole lot of character and charm, immaculately clean, with beautiful views, lovely staff, and a great Greek experience, I’d highly recommend the Aegeon.
It’s in a quiet spot, but it’s an easy walk into the village where you’ll find enough restaurants to give you plenty of choice. If you decide to stay round the pool, I’d highly recommend the Greek pizza, just fab! The hotel puts on a Greek bbq night once a week, which most of the guests attended and was great fun.
We hired a car and spent the day exploring the island, which is really lovely. It’s a far more authentic experience than the more commercial islands like Rhodes or Corfu.
We’re definitely looking to come back again, following in the footsteps of a large number of other returning visitors.
Thank you again Antonetta and all the staff of the Aegeon, we’ll see you again soon.

My stay at Aegeon Hotel was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.
The owner and every member of the staff were truly exceptional. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality touched my heart. In today’s world, it is incredibly rare to meet people with such beautiful hearts.
I sincerely hope that one day they will have the opportunity to visit Canada or Türkiye, because I would be honored to welcome them into my home and show them the same kindness they showed me.
The hotel was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Every morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast made with fresh local products. The olives from Lesvos were simply incredible—without a doubt some of the most delicious I have ever tasted.
The owner went above and beyond to help me whenever I needed anything, making me feel more like a family friend than a guest. If I had more time, I would have happily stayed much longer.
As I was leaving, they surprised me with a beautiful gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture that I will treasure forever. I will never forget their generosity, their smiles, and the way they made me feel at home.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our stay so special. We didn’t just leave with wonderful memories of Lesvos—we left with memories of truly wonderful people.
I look forward to returning one day.

First time in Lesvos

This was are first time in Lesvos. This hotel is authentically Greek, and family orientated. From when you arrive to when you leave it’s like you are a part of the family, wrapped up a big warm hug. The owners and all staff are brilliant, more than happy to answer questions and help if needed. The rooms are comfy and spotlessly clean, bedding and towels changed frequently. The shower in our room was too small to be honest, but plenty of hot water. Breakfast could be a little better, but you will find something to suit, Pool area and bar is good and they do a good selection of food for lunch, which is excellent. Watch out for Marco (one of the dogs), he loves to eat . Both dogs are very friendly. The pool toilets and showers really could do with some investment to update. However this doesn’t detract from the overall ambience of the hotel. It is only a 15 flat walk into the small village where you will find a selection of restaurants, our favourites where Caprice and Mezen. Overall we highly recommend this Hotel x
